15.ズラテフ=チェルキン　パストラール
Georgi Zlatev-Tcherkin (1905~1977)　ブルガリアの作曲家、声楽教授
ブルガリアの国立音楽アカデミーでピアノ、音楽理論を学び、卒業後1929年ウイーンの国立演劇芸術アカデミーで声楽教育学者リアハンマー教授に師事し、同時に作曲を学ぶ。1938年ブルガリアに戻り国立音楽アカデミーで教鞭を取り准教授を経て学長となる。作品には2曲のオペレッタ、カンタータ、室内楽、歌曲などがある。この作品「パストラール」は筆者がウイーン留学中に知り合った、ブルガリアからフルートで留学していた同級の友人にプレゼントされた楽譜の中に掲載されていたものである。その楽譜はブルガリアで出版されたフルート曲集で、その友人はこの曲は祖国では有名な曲だと言っていた。哀調漂う旋律はブルガリアの田園風景を思い起こさせ、心が揺さぶられる。

15. Zratev-Chelkin Pastorale
Georgi Zlatev-Tcherkin (1905-1977), Bulgarian composer, professor of vocal music. He studied piano and music theory at the National Academy of Music in Bulgaria, and after graduating in 1929 he studied under Professor Leahhammer, a vocal education scholar at the National Academy of Drama and Arts in Wien, and at the same time studied composition. He returned to Bulgaria in 1938, where he taught at the National Academy of Music and became associate professor and president. His works include two operettas, cantatas, chamber music and songs. This work "Pastorale" was published in a score presented to a friend of the same class who was studying abroad on a flute from Bulgaria, which I met while studying abroad in Vienna. The score is a collection of flute songs published in Bulgaria, and a friend said the song was a famous song in his homeland. The melancholy tune reminds me of the Bulgarian countryside and shakes my heart.
