13. クーラウ　『ルル』組曲　第3曲　パストラール
（クーラウについては1巻、2巻参照のこと）。オペラ『ルル』第2幕の魔法使いディルフェングの住まい（洞窟）の前にやってきた王子ルルはディルフェングの注意を惹くために、妖精の女王ペリフェリーメ（シディの母親）から授かった魔法の笛を取り出し音楽を奏でる。この時、ルルはもう一つの授かり物の｢魔法の指輪｣の力で老人に化けている。原典では森の動物たちが笛の音に誘われてルルの周りに集まってくるシーンである。これをきっかけにディルフェングはルルを屋敷の中に導き入れることになる。オペラ『ルル』の中でフルートが果たす重要な場面。
