2. Lange Flower Song, Op. 39
Gustav Lange (1830-1889) German composer. pianist. He was taught piano and organ by his father and studied at the "Imperial Conservatory for Church Music" in Berlin. After that, he performed and composed mainly in Berlin, and composed many salon-like pieces for piano solo, which were touted by piano lovers at the time. His opus number counts up to 493. He is widely known as "Edelweiss" Op. 31, "Rose of the Wilderness" Op. 78, but the most famous one is this "Flower Song". |
