6. Dvorak Rondo Op. 94
Antonín Leopold Dvořák (1841-1904) Late Romantic Czech composer. He was found talented by Brahms and became a popular composer in the "Slavonic Dances". He then traveled to the United States to contribute to music education. He has left masterpieces in a wide variety of genres such as symphonies, chamber music and opera. His tune is so pleasant that it can be called a melody maker. This song was composed for cello and piano in 1891, and two years later, in 1893, it was arranged by the composer into cello and orchestra. Like the song title, it is written in the typical Rondo format of A-B-A-C-A-B-Coda. |
