9. Morning Op. 50-1
Émile Sauret (1852-1920) French violinist, composer and educator. He has traveled to Europe and the United States as a violin prodigy since he was eight years old. He also collaborates with Liszt. He has composed over 100 violin songs and has written the instructional book "The Steps to Parnassus". He taught in Berlin, London, Chicago, Geneva, etc. and eventually settled in London. This "morning" is in the first song of Scènes villageoises "Countryside Landscape" (4 songs) published in 1894. It would be a picture of a refreshing country morning. |
